Rebekah Haluk asked the regional government in Papua, immediately resolve administrative requirements for the distribution of autonomy and DTI funds

Fajar.co.id, Minister of Internal Affairs of Jakarta-Deputy (Wamendagri) Rebekah Haluk asked the regional government (PEMDA) in Papua to immediately accelerate the completion of administrative requirements for the distribution of special autonomy funds (OTSUS) and additional infrastructure (DTI). The request was sent during the meeting of the acceleration of the distribution of special autonomy funds and phase I of 2025 DTI which was owned by the headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Kemendagri), Jakarta, Monday (6/30/2025).

Ribka has said that so far, there are still a number of local governments in the Papuan region which have not yet completed administrative documents for the distribution of funds. He underlined the regional government concerned to immediately fulfill these requirements in a week. This considers that autonomy and DTI funds are a form of government commitment to encourage economic growth and improve the well-being of the inhabitants of Papua which must be carried out immediately.

“I ask the attention, before the Minister published a warning letter for their respective regional leaders, it is to be hoped that this week was working hard to finish regional responsibility,” he said.

In addition, Ribka asked the regional government to face the obstacles of the administrative process to coordinate immediately. This step is important for the bureaucratic process to light up and the program can run immediately.

“I hope that friends in this area are serious, bureaucracy should not be too long. If you cannot, report it to management, report it to the regional secretary, report it to the Regent or Governor,” he said.
