Blp Beauty and Anyam collaborate to celebrate beauty with the purpose and empowerment of Indonesian women.
BLP Beauty, beauty brand Who was founded by Lizzie Parra, on August 7, announced an inspiring collaboration with Anyam, a social entrepreneur who focused on the empowerment of women weaving in remote regions of Indonesia. Thanks to the #Blpivesback Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, this collaboration is delivered with the campaign “Be the Strength in You: Empowering”, which reiterates this real beauty beyond external appearance and is able to create a real social impact.
Since its creation in 2016, BLP Beauty has celebrated the unique character of each individual and has encouraged each user to be the best version of themselves. This commitment was manifested in collaboration with Du Anyam, which allowed more than 1,600 women to weave more than 54 villages in eastern Nusa Tenggara, southern Kalimantan and Papua.

A bridge between beauty and empowerment

From Anyam himself was born out of the concern of socio-economic problems and malnutrition of mothers and children in East Flores, NTT. By providing alternative work thanks to woven trades, Anyam has paved the way for the empowerment of the economy of women in the village, allows them to obtain additional income and prioritize the fundamental needs of the family such as nutrition, health and education.
