ASN National Land Agency (BPN) man Nias Apriaman Lase (27) died after jumping from the 12th floor of an apartment in Medan after having an open BO with women FR (31) and JS (29) through a dating app. The victim was forced to show the contents of her bank balance by the attacker.
Reported by detikSumut, Thursday (16/7/2026), Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Medan Police AKBP Adrian Risky said that the victim initially ordered one of the women from the MiChat application, on July 10, 2026 at around 03:30 WIB. At that point, the victim contacted the perpetrator FR and told him to come to the apartment where the victim was staying.

When they met, the perpetrator FR allegedly brought his friend, namely the perpetrator JS. After the meeting, the victim did not wish to have intimate relations with FR because the photo on the application was different from the original. As a result, the victim decided to simply have sex with the perpetrator JS.
AKBP Adrian said that after having sex, there was a dispute regarding the payment amount between the victim and the perpetrator. Because at that time the perpetrators forced the victim to pay an additional Rp 1,000,000. 4.5 million. The victim refused.
According to him, the victim refused to pay the money because the amount was very large. However, the perpetrators continued to pressure the victim to pay. In fact, the attackers also forced them to see the victim’s account balance on her cell phone.
“So he (the perpetrator) forced the victim to show the balance on his mobile phone while approaching the victim. The room had a balcony, the balcony was about a meter from the bedroom door,” Adrian said.
The perpetrators continued to urge the victim to pay the sum of Rp. 1,000,000,000. 4.5 million. The victim jumped from the apartment, causing his death.
