This information was conveyed via an Instagram account @jakartaviral which indicated that the appointment had undergone a financial services authority (OJK) aptitude and suitability testing process.

The upload explains that the decision to appoint Addin will take effect on March 11, 2026.

This appointment immediately attracted public attention as it came shortly after he expressed his support for President Prabowo Subianto.

Passing the OJK Eligibility Test

The account indicated that Addin Jauharudin had fulfilled the requirements to serve as Commissioner of the Bank.

The appointment was determined by a decision of the financial services sector regulator.

“A copy of the decision of the OJK Board of Commissioners explains that the OJK approved Addinjauharudin to become an independent commissioner (private bank, editor’s note),” wrote the management of the bank in question cited in the upload.

It was also stated that the decision would come into force on March 11, 2026 after undergoing an evaluation process conducted by the OJK.
