Attorney Hitchcock has been an associate attorney with the Maine Criminal Defense Group since 2017. This promotion will expand his responsibilities within the firm while continuing his respected criminal practice.

According to the firm’s Managing Attorney and Owner, William T. Bly, Attorney Hitchcock has consistently demonstrated professional excellence, leadership and commitment to our clients and the community since joining the firm.

Attorney Hitchcock is a seasoned litigator with extensive jury trial experience. While specializing in adult criminal defense, Attorney Hitchcock has experience defending children in the juvenile system, as well as processing orders of protection and assisting clients in the clemency process to seal convictions.

While attending the University of Maine Law School, Attorney Hitchcock interned in the Maine Attorney General’s Office and also contributed to the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, assisting individuals in the financial need to resolve various legal issues.

A resident of York County, Maine, Attorney Hitchcock serves the community as an elected alderman for the City of Sanford. He also serves as vice chairman of the board of directors for the Sanford Mainers collegiate baseball team.
