Albion Man was charged with 11 chiefs of sexual crimes for children


Augusta, Maine – A man from Albion, 44, Maine, Sean M. Eori, is tried in the Capital Judicial Center after being charged with 11 accusations involving the alleged sexual assault and the exploitation of a child in the County of Kennebec.

Prosecutors allege that between 2019 and 2022, Eori engaged in repeated acts of sexual abuse against a girl he had known since she was a baby. The abuses began to take place after being 13 years old. According to the Deputy Prosecutor of District Amanda Seekins, Eori had sex with the daughter lasting more than 18 months, during which he assaulted it in several places, including on board his boat, at his home, in his business and in campers.

The most serious accusation, a class A accusation chief of serious sexual assault, alleges that Eori has engaged in a sexual act with a child under 14 between January 2019 and January 2021. He also faced three chiefs of illegal sexual contact, two sexual leaders of a minor, a chief of sexual exploitation of a minor, and four chiefs children under the age of 16.

During the first day of the trial, the jurors received a video in which the victim described the alleged assaults, declaring that Eori “always had a loaded weapon on him” and warned him of “consequences” if she said. She also alleged that he had forced her to send naked photographs of herself.

Eori pleaded not guilty. Her lawyer, Walter McKee, told the jury that there was no physical evidence supporting the allegations, no DNA evidence binding eori to attacks, and no indication in the school board files of the girl she had ever disclosed by Eori.
