FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Former Secretary of State Muhammad Said Didu continues to criticize the actions taken by the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, who issued the National Police Chief’s Regulation (Perkap) No. 10 of 2025 which regulates the placement of National Police members in civilian positions.

Said Didu criticized this regulation as it is seen as in complete contradiction with the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK), which ordered police officers to resign or take early retirement if they wanted to take up civilian positions.

The National Police, which was supposed to play a leading role in enforcing the rules in accordance with the Constitutional Court’s decision, actually adopted competing regulations that were considered contrary to the Constitutional Court’s decision. According to the regulations of the National Police Chief, active police officers can occupy positions in 17 civilian institutions.

“It’s like this: there is a subdistrict rule prohibiting dogs from walking, but those who have dogs make their own rules that my dog ​​can go wherever he wants. The rules for those who have dogs are deemed not to conflict,” Said Didu said in a tweet on his social media account, Monday (12/15).

Said Didu’s statement responded to the comments of Commission III DPR RI which stated that Perkap No. 10 of 2025 issued by the National Police Chief did not conflict with the decision of the Constitutional Court. “The one who determines whether it is contradictory or not is the MK – not the DPR!!!,” said Said Didu.

Previously, Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI Habiburokhman said that Police Regulation (Perpol) number 10/2025 regarding the assignment of police members outside the police organizational structure did not conflict with the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK).
