The Indonesian National Border Management Agency (BNPP), through the Deputy Deputy for Land Border Area Potential (Deputy Deputy PKPD), has organized human resources capacity building activities.
This activity is aimed at micro-entrepreneurs in the Ikat weaving sector in the Motaain National Border Post (PLBN) area, Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT), for two days on April 14 and 15, 2026.
This activity is part of BNPP’s efforts to encourage the economic independence of border communities by increasing the capacity of MSMEs drawing on local potential.
The objective of the training is to strengthen the technical skills and creativity of ikat artisans so that they are capable of manufacturing independent, value-added and competitive products.
Deputy Deputy of PKPD BNPP RI, TNI Brigadier General Topri Daeng Balaw, who represented the Deputy for Border Area Potential Management, Inspector General Pol Edfrie R Maith, emphasized that the training was an implementation of the mandate of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto.
This is stated in the 6th Asta Cita, namely building from the village down for economic equality and eradication of poverty.
“We are organizing training to improve skills and encourage economic growth of communities in border areas. We hope that their capabilities will increase so that they have higher skills and their products will have more value,” said Topri, in a written statement, Wednesday (15/4/2026).
Topri explained that the training material included natural dyeing and yarn drying techniques, development of woven patterns typical of Belu, to sewing derivative products made from woven materials such as wallets.
By strengthening the ikat weaving sector, BNPP encourages artisans to be more creative, improve the quality of the fabric and transform it into derivative products such as bags, wallets and clothing.
“This two-day training does not stop there. BNPP RI will encourage continued assistance on the marketing aspect, so that the product is truly ready to compete and has a direct impact on increasing the income of border communities,” said Topri.
This activity is also supported by cross-sector collaboration with a number of strategic partners, including BAZNAS, Pertamina Foundation, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) and the local regional government (Pemda), with the aim of strengthening the MSME ecosystem in border areas.
Furthermore, the head of PLBN Motaain, Maria Fatima Rika, appreciated the initiative of the BNPP which made the PLBN a center for developing the capacities of Ikat artisans.
According to Maria, the role of the PLBN is not only that of a cross-border service node, but also that of a driver of the local economy.
“The PLBN is the front porch of the country. In line with BNPP RI guidance, its existence must have a direct economic impact on the surrounding community,” said Maria.
Maria hopes that strengthening human resources through this training can elevate Belu Ikat weaving not only as a cultural heritage, but also as a strong commercial product.
“With its superior human resources, Belu Ikat Weaving should be able to penetrate the border markets of Timor Leste,” said Maria.
By increasing the capacity of senior human resources and MSMEs based on local potential, BNPP emphasizes its efforts to ensure inclusive and sustainable economic development in border areas, in line with the national policy direction to strengthen the well-being of communities in the periphery.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
