FAJAR.CO.ID, MAKASSAR – After being officially launched yesterday in Jakarta, Wuling Motors (Wuling) introduced the Wuling Darion at the GIIAS Makassar 2025 event, which took place from November 5 to 9, 2025, at the Summarecon Mutiara Makassar Convention Center (SMMCC).

The latest MPV, which carries the slogan “Evolving Family Moments”, is a form of Wuling’s commitment to providing modern, environmentally friendly mobility solutions tailored to the needs of Indonesian families.

“Illustrating Wuling’s closeness to the Indonesian people, the name Darion itself comes from the phrase ‘From Indonesia.’ This philosophy represents Wuling’s long-term commitment and is in line with the spirit of “Built in Indonesia for you”.

“The Wuling Darion is produced at the Wuling factory in Cikarang, West Java, and is the first MPV in Indonesia available in EV and PHEV options,” explained Edison as strategic director of Wuling Motors.

Carrying the Elegant Streamline Design concept, Wuling Darion presents a combination of elegant and dynamic design, typical of modern family vehicles.

The PHEV variant is equipped with a bold diamond grille, while the PHEV and EV variants feature X-style front and rear lights, 17-inch alloy wheels with modern center covers and hidden sliding doors that maintain the neat and unified appearance.

Comfort is also the main value that Darion carries for every family trip.
This mid-size MPV has a spacious cabin with a 7-seater configuration and offers spacious space in each row. This is supported by the long body dimensions and the largest wheelbase in its class.
